Annual Northeast Kansas Tractor Cruise rolls on Monday

The Northeast Kansas Tractor Cruise will be rolling along will be rolling along on Labor Day to benefit the Angelman Syndrome Foundation.

The annual Northeast Kansas Tractor Cruise to benefit the Angelman Syndrome Foundation will be departing at 10:30 a.m. from the Everest Middle School on Labor Day, Monday Sept. 4.

From Everest Middle School, the tractor procession will proceed to pass by Everest Park between 10:30-10:45 am along east Kansas Highway 20 and turn off along Castleton Road. Tractors will approach from east of Lancaster. The cruise will continue along Main Street in Lancaster approximately between 11:30 and noon, then to Kanning Park fin Lancaster or lunch.

After lunch the tractors will depart about 1-1:30 p.m. and go across U.S. Highway 73 westbound by the Rural Water District No. 5 headquarters and continue westbound until arrival at the blacktop north of Effingham. From there, the tractors will proceed along Edwards Road. From Edwards Road, the tractors will return to Everest via the Raccoon Road route.

Registration for Tractor Cruise will be from 8:30 a.m. until 10:15 a.m. at the Everest Middle School.

All proceeds from the event benefit Angelman Syndrome Foundation for its work to advance awareness, treatment, research and cure of the rare genetic disorder of the nervous system.

Olsen's daughter, Ingrid is affected by the syndrome.
