ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES -Performs water chemical testing analysis and adjusts chemical balances of pools using prescribed methods of chemical sanitation, following applicable state and local regulations -Maintain records of water quality, water usage, and chemical usage of Park District pools -Maintains and repairs pool circulating pumps, water sample pumps, chemical feed pumps, and filtration systems -Cleans, repairs and paints the pool surfaces while wearing applicable PPE including respirator. -Performs backwashes and maintenance of pool filters and related equipment -Assists in the repair and maintenance of plumbing and piping systems for pool operations SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS High school graduate or G.E.D. with experience in one or more building or shop trades Minimum of two- three years' experience in one or more building or shop trades
